Draft Apps

Let's start with the single most important concept in this module: the draft state.

Everything you do while building an App happens in a draft. Draft changes are not live. You can freely edit prompts, adjust logic, and reconfigure your App without any of it affecting the people who use it. This is your safe space to experiment.

Why does this matter so much? Because it means you never have to build under pressure. Imagine you've launched an internal travel booking App and you want to redesign the layout. You can rework it as much as you like in draft, preview it, and refine it, all while your users continue with the stable, live version. Nothing you do affects them until you decide otherwise.

There's one more thing to know about drafts: until you save your work as a version (more on that shortly), your draft changes stay private to you, the creator. That means you can tinker away without anyone else on your team seeing a half-finished idea.
