Key takeaways

Let's review

You've now got a feel for the App builder and the flow of creating an App. Here's a quick recap:

  • You start a new App by clicking "New" in the Apps section, then build it through the conversation panel on the left. A clear first prompt (covering what the App does, its look and feel, and any data needs) gives you the strongest starting point.

  • The Preview tab lets you interact with your App in real time, including switching between Desktop and Mobile views, while the Code tab gives you full access to browse, search, and edit the underlying React code whenever you want it.

  • Building is a conversation. Build your front end first, keep your changes small and scoped, and refine through follow-up prompts: describe, preview, refine, and repeat.

You can now create an App and shape how it looks and behaves. But right now, your App is a beautiful front end without anything powering it behind the scenes. In the next module, Connect Apps to workflows, you'll learn how endpoints link your App to your Tines stories, so it can send and receive real data.
