Spotlight: Apps on your terms
More teams are building Apps in Tines Stories to deliver their most important work. This month, you can connect Apps to your Tines data, assign clear ownership, and share view access through your identity provider.
Bring your data directly into an app. Apps can now read cases, records, and resources through built-in Workbench functions, so you spend less time configuring Workbench tools and building endpoints to interact with your data..
You can also export the source for any app draft, saved version, or live version as a zip archive, making it easier to review and reuse your work outside a single editor session.
Every app can now have one or more owners, so accountability stays clear as your app library grows. With single sign-on, viewers authenticate through your identity provider before they open an app. You can reach a broader audience while keeping access tied to the controls your organization already has in place.
Bring AI into every case
Workbench is now available directly inside every case, working with the full context of your investigation. “Ask” mode reads the entire case content and answers questions without making changes. “Agent” mode updates the current case or related cases on your behalf. Use any of the Workbench tools you’ve enabled for use with Cases Workbench to inject context and target specific outcomes.
Add a published Tines 3B workflow as a case action, so you or an analyst can manually trigger the workflow directly from the investigation. New list layouts help you move through your queue with compact views, a pinned first column, efficient column selection, and quick action for every case row.
You can now manage case templates through the API. Create, retrieve, preview, update, and delete templates programmatically, so your team can dynamically work with templates as your library grows.
One source of expertise for your agents
AI Agent actions in Tines Stories now support Agent Skills. Attach specialized instructions and knowledge to agents in your stories, then use the same skills with Workbench. You now maintain one source of expertise that guides AI across all of your workflows.
Two new Claude models, Fable 5 and Opus 5, are also available.
Expand AI-assisted work while keeping control
Change reviews are now more collaborative. See the changes in a review group laid out visually instead of reading raw JSON, then ask questions, share context, and resolve feedback in comment threads tied to the exact change.
You also get more precise control of AI governance. Decide whether each credential is available to Workbench without changing how that credential works in stories. Set custom AI credit thresholds and send alerts by email, in app, or webhook, so the right people know before usage reaches a limit.
Collections can now require sign-in through your identity provider, so sensitive content stays with the people who should have access.
