Hardened foundation for the tines-app image

Self-hosted
Aron Day

The tines-app container image now ships on an ultra-minimal, hardened base OS, reducing the number of known vulnerabilities (CVEs) in the software you deploy.

The new base image includes only the exact dependencies our application needs to run. That means a much smaller attack surface and fewer vulnerability alerts to triage.

This applies automatically to new deployments and upgrades, including FIPS-compliant environments. Most customers don't need to make any configuration changes.

Requires Tines v42.4 or later.
