You can now use an app within a case via a case action.

When you connect an app to a case action, the app receives the case ID automatically as a query parameter. Point the app at that ID, and it loads information relevant to the case the moment it opens.

This is made possible by Apps exposing functions that let you communicate with an app directly, without building a story to pull the data.

The result extends the case surface into something highly customizable and dynamic. Build an app once, and every case gets its own tailored, interactive view.

In the example above, IOCs are previously captured as a record and automatically attached to each case. To view the IOCs in detail, the "IOC Dashboard" app was built and added to the case action. It automatically identifies the case ID and displays the relevant record IOCs in detail.
