New field types for records
Records and dashboards
Records now support four new field types. Tines validates values in these fields whenever a record is created or updated in the UI, by a story, or through the API:
IP address accepts IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and stores them in a consistent format.
Email address validates addresses and standardizes domain names.
URL validates and normalizes links.
Custom regex enforces a pattern you define, such as a prefixed ID (e.g.,
REF-123).
You can also filter and group records by these fields.
For URL fields that contain unsafe links, turn on Disable hyperlinking to show URLs as plain text and help prevent accidental clicks.
