AI clients using Tines' MCP server can now create, update, and delete records and record types, not just read them.
This completes the Records toolset for MCP clients, so AI-assisted experiences can manage record data end-to-end, all while respecting your existing access permissions and audit requirements.
New capabilities include:
Record type management – AI clients can create record types with field definitions and custom record limits, partially update existing types (including explicit field deletion), and delete types using the same soft-delete and one-month cleanup behavior as the rest of Tines.
Record management – AI clients can create, update, and permanently delete live records, with optional idempotency keys that make retried creates safe for 24 hours.
Every write action is scrubbed before being logged, so MCP audit events capture identifiers and counts without exposing field values.
