Today at re:Inforce Amazon Web Services (AWS), unveiled an enhanced version of AWS Security Hub which will enable organizations to surface and prioritize active risks in their cloud environment. Security Hub transforms security signals into actionable insights and offers intuitive visualizations and natural language summaries. Tines will offer workflow orchestration and automation for this enhanced version of Security Hub. Together with Tines and AWS Security Hub, organizations can reduce security risks, improve their team’s productivity, and minimize potential operational disruptions.
As a workflow orchestration and automation launch partner, Tines will automatically triage, enrich, and remediate alerts from AWS Security Hub. This milestone strengthens our collaboration with AWS, delivering even greater value to our shared customers. In addition to AWS Security Hub, organizations can continue to leverage our pre-built workflows and action templates for over twenty other AWS products and services.
The integration between AWS Security Hub and Tines enables customers to streamline remediation at scale, transforming how teams handle cloud security alerts and slashing response times. By combining AWS Security Hub's ability to surface and prioritize active risks with Tines' workflow automation, organizations can make more informed security decisions quickly while ensuring comprehensive handling of every alert.”

Example workflow
We will have pre-built workflows available prior to Security Hub’s general availability. While the possibilities are endless, we wanted to share an example of one of the workflows we are building that will be available in the Tines library.
In this example, an OCSF alert identifies an out-of-compliance S3 bucket and Tines immediately springs into action. Tines automatically gathers context from AWS Security Hub and S3 to enrich the alert, then creates a detailed Tines Case that consolidates all findings into a single, actionable view.
You can tailor the workflow to match your security strategy for the next steps. Paths this workflow can take are automatically implementing remediation procedures or intelligently routing the case to your security team for deeper analysis. This workflow is just one example of how together Tines and AWS Security Hub will transform how teams handle cloud security alerts - slashing response times from hours to minutes while ensuring comprehensive and consistent handling of every alert.
We look forward to sharing more about Tines workflows for AWS Security Hub as we approach general availability. If you are interested in learning more, tune in as our founder and CEO, Eoin Hinchy, joins AWS Security Live! on July 22. Here is the link to register.
