Introducing cases and records

Cases let you investigate, remediate, and report on an incident in a collaborative workspace. Cases are built on top of records. With records, your data is normalized across stories in a structure defined by you.

When something unexpected happens in your story, you can capture that with records and automatically add it to a case. From there, you can investigate what didn’t go as planned, update your story, or build an entirely new one to avoid encountering that anomaly again.

Take cases for a test drive: we’re offering a free 45-day trial of cases and records to customers.

Spotlight: Formulas

We’ve been on a mission to expand formulas based on customer feedback. Here’s a few highlights:

Tolerance for de-duplicating events

Historically, deduplication in Tines had a tolerance of one. This means the second time a same value event is received, it is treated as a duplicate.

You can now specify exactly how many times a duplicate event can run using the TOLERANCE feature in the build pane.

Action running indicator

A subtle quality of life improvement. When an action is running, there’s a loading spinner on the action card to let you know it’s still running.
