New field types for cases
Cases
We've added three new field types for case fields: URL, email, and IP address. Use them to capture and validate structured data directly on your cases.
URL fields validate that input is a properly formatted web address. For unsafe links, turn on Disable hyperlinking to show URLs as plain text and help prevent accidental clicks.
Email fields validate that input is a properly formatted email address.
IP address fields validate IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
These field types help keep your case data clean and consistent, making it easier to search, filter, and act on later in your workflows.
