Public procurement monitoring across US, European, and UK government portals

Tender Search watches public procurement portals in the UK, EU and US, scores new tenders against what you sell, and sends alerts to Slack or email. It works out of the box with Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, TED and SAM.gov. eTenders (Ireland) and the UK Defence Sourcing Portal are available as optional modules. Each match comes with a plain-English summary, a relevance score with the reason it matched, and a deadline countdown. You choose how often it searches, and whether you hear about matches straight away, in a daily or weekly digest, or both. You can add new sources through configuration, without rebuilding the workflow.

The problem

Finding the right public sector tenders takes too long. Notices are spread across Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, TED, SAM.gov, eTenders and specialist portals like the UK Defence Sourcing Portal. Each has its own search, data format and publishing schedule, and some need a login. Bid managers and business development teams end up checking several sites every day, often for opportunities with response windows of only a few weeks.

Keyword alerts only go part of the way. Matching on keywords and CPV codes alone brings back a lot of irrelevant notices, so people still read through dozens of results to find the few worth pursuing. Amended notices add more noise, or get missed when a deadline moves. The commercial tender alert services that handle this well are usually sold on annual quotes, which can be hard to justify for smaller suppliers and consultancies.

Solution and impact

Procurement Monitor gives your team one feed of relevant tenders from every portal you care about. You describe what you sell in a few sentences and add keywords, countries and an optional minimum contract value. The workflow does the rest.

Each search run collects new notices and filters out obvious misses, such as the wrong country, a passed deadline or an excluded term. AI then scores the remaining tenders from 1 to 10 against your business description. Every alert shows:

  • what the buyer wants

  • who the buyer is

  • the contract value, deadline and days remaining

  • any stated requirements, such as security clearance

  • one line on why it matched

Notices published on TED in other languages are summarised in English.

Strong matches can go straight to Slack while everything else goes into a daily or weekly digest. The digest also:

  • flags early signals, such as prior information and market engagement notices

  • lists high-scoring tenders closing within seven days

  • shows which sources were checked and how many notices were scanned

If a deadline or value changes on a tender you’ve already seen, you get an update rather than a duplicate.

The first run looks back 14 days, so you see results straight away. A demo mode with sample data lets you try it before connecting anything. Logins for portals that need them are stored securely in 3B.
