Some tools return files rather than text responses. For example, Code analyst might generate a PDF report or CSV file, a story might return a document or image, or a template might retrieve a file from an external system.
If you're building stories that return files to Workbench, the output must follow a specific JSON format. Check the Tines documentation for the required schema.
When a tool returns a file, Workbench presents it in a way you can view directly in the conversation, so you don't need to leave Workbench to work with it.
