Connecting stories to LLM ecosystems

Did you hear the news? You can now build MCP Servers on Tines!
Connect Tines stories to your LLM ecosystem in seconds using a new action template, enabling secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) server deployment.
We also enhanced our AI usage reporting, allowing you to track AI adoption and manage costs more efficiently with better visibility into detailed AI reporting, including:
AI cost over time
Workbench
AI Agent action
Token usage breakdown
Interacting with Tines and your team
When working on a case, you may find yourself using pages to help investigate an issue. Pages are now available directly inside in the case - no more flipping between tabs to give an auditor read-only access or look up additional user information.
Check out the other latest updates with Cases and Dashboards:
Configure whether a case opens in the current window or a new tab for a cleaner case experience
Saved views now display only the included columns it was initially saved as
Use the dashboard toolbar to set a refresh rate or make dashboards full-screen for easier display viewing
With dashboard permissions separate from case permissions, we’ve also added two updated roles:
Dashboard Manage
Dashboard View
Efficient building starts with Tines actions

Actions are the building blocks of Tines, and we take care to focus energy on how we can improve them.
This month, builders can get more insight into how actions are performing with action metadata now included in an action’s event. Within the metadata, you can measure the time from when the action became eligible to run until processing began with “pending_duration.”
Also, did you hear about pre-filtering events? Avoid multiple trigger actions for your HTTP Request and Event Transform actions by adding rules. These rules create events only if they match specific criteria.
Oh, and don’t forget to check out these new functions!
JWK_TO_PEM and PEM_TO_JWK: Convert a JSON Web Key to Privacy Enhanced Mail format and vice versa
JWT_DECODE: Decode and verify JSON Web Tokens and Keys to access user information and prevent having to conduct a database lookup every time
Maintain speed and accuracy over your workflows

“Resolve all” is a new dropdown option we added to the change request modal. When lots of small changes are made to a story, this new option lets you accept all pre-discussed story changes at once, bypassing the need for individual review.
There were also a few updates to notifications this month, allowing you to stay up-to-date on the latest information, including:
Credential expiry notifications: Receive notifications as credentials are nearing their expiration date to never miss an update
Update case notification settings: Easily find case notifications within the Case settings, and use the new shortcut for the webhook URL to go directly to the action on the Storyboard
But wait, there's more!

We couldn’t exclude these other features that were released this month:
Uplevel your case comments with enhanced rich text formatting
Interact with multiple pages all without leaving a collection
Generate and run Python code through the Code analyst in the AI Agent action
Use the new case information card to get the latest case updates
Use the API for receive email and webhook actions to save story runs
