Manage tool access and permissions

As you enable more tools, it's important to manage access thoughtfully.

Enable only what you need

Don't enable every available template and story. Focus on what's relevant to your work. A focused tool set makes it easier for Workbench to choose the right tool for each task.

Review credentials regularly

Periodically review which credentials you've configured for templates. Remove access to services you no longer use, and ensure credentials are up-to-date.

Use confirmation requirements wisely

Not every action needs confirmation. Enable it for tools that perform sensitive or irreversible actions. Too many confirmation prompts can slow things down and reduce Workbench's usefulness.

Audit logs

All Workbench activity is captured in your Tines audit logs (available as part of the Security Essentials package, as noted in Module 1). This gives you visibility into what tools were used, when, and by whom.
