Five questions with Commercial Sales Director, EMEA, AnneMarie Regan

AnneMarie Regan is the Commercial Sales Director of our EMEA team. Since sales is a team sport, AnneMarie works cross-functionally to help our sales team succeed and achieve their goals with gusto. Here, she shares more about her love of introducing potential customers to Tines, hiring new talent, and how she likes to unwind when she's not planning and implementing strategies that accelerate the growth of our no-code automation platform.

Can you tell us a little more about yourself?‍

I joined Tines two years ago as our first sales hire, tasked with helping build out the sales function. Before joining Tines, I worked for a number of early-stage companies in Dublin and San Francisco, helping them scale their sales teams.

What does a typical workday or week look like for you at Tines? 

One of my favorite things about working at Tines is no two days are the same. Every day presents new challenges, and there is always something exciting to work on. Teamwork is a big part of my job, so a lot of my time is spent collaborating with colleagues on various projects. I also get to work directly with clients, which I love. We help companies automate mundane security-related tasks that normally eat up time and resources for analysts and engineers, allowing for greater focus on more critical tasks. Seeing that impact firsthand is really rewarding. Hiring is also a big priority at the moment, so a lot of time is spent meeting with candidates. 

What’s the coolest thing you’ve worked on to date?

There’s such excitement about the opportunity we have at Tines that it’s hard to pick one standout moment. Every day I’m blown away by the team we have hired and what they have accomplished so far. We have an amazing product that our customers love, so the best part of my job is scaling that—hiring exceptional sales reps and helping them bring Tines to the market. 

What’s your favorite thing about working here?

The people. Working at Tines means being surrounded by smart, passionate people who inspire you to do your best work.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Growing up beside the sea in Bundoran Co. Donegal, I fell in love with the ocean at an early age. That developed into a passion for surfing, and I now view surfing as my time to unwind and reset. I am able to clear my head and gain perspective on what’s happening in my life. Even though I’m no pro, working on and honing a craft I’m passionate about is really fulfilling.
