Create and assign tasks directly within cases to track and manage work efficiently. The new Tasks panel in the sidebar lets you:
Create and define a task
Assign a task to team members
Mark tasks as complete/incomplete
Sort how tasks are displayed
Find your work quickly with the "My open tasks" filter that shows all cases with tasks assigned to you. Be sure to add the "Tasks" column to the case list for an at-a-glance view of task status for each case.
Tasks can be created within a case template or when building a case from scratch. Users can also create tasks directly within an existing case when given permission. Finally, programmatically define and manage tasks via the Cases task API. See our documentation for more information.
