Role Overview
Take the lead in shaping the learning journey for Tines University, our dedicated platform for customer and partner education. As our Education Content Developer, you'll create and maintain engaging multimedia learning resources that reflect the latest product updates and provide a seamless experience for learners worldwide. With your perfect balance of technical aptitude and creativity, you'll elevate our educational content and certification programs to new heights, while ensuring our materials stay current with our rapidly evolving platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Tines University content, ensuring perfect accuracy with every product update, from UI tweaks to major UX changes
- Dedicate 20-30% of your time to monitoring platform changes and signals of updates, converting those into actionable tasks for content creation and updates
- Implement quick updates for simple changes and develop comprehensive content for complex new features, including interviewing SMEs and creating examples
- Support the evolution of the Tines certifications program, refining learning paths and grading hands-on lab submissions
- Support product launches by developing corresponding educational materials that showcase features effectively
- Develop hands-on labs that support our expanding public training offerings
- Create high-quality educational videos using tools like Screen Studio, Camtasia, or Adobe Premiere
- Design and implement a content strategy that ensures consistency across all educational materials
- Collaborate with product teams to understand new features and translate them into effective learning materials
- Sunset outdated content and refresh existing materials to maintain relevance
- Support the University 2.0 refresh initiative by creating content and assisting with the revamp effort
- Creatively leverage AI tools and effective prompting techniques to enhance content development workflows and educational materials
- Use Tines regularly to ensure all content aligns with real-world use cases and best practices
In your first 90 days, you'll
- Complete Tines Core and Advanced certifications
- Conduct a comprehensive review of our current educational content
- Begin developing a content strategy that addresses gaps and ensures consistency
- Create content to support the University 2.0 refresh initiative
- Create prototype content samples that demonstrate your vision for our educational materials
- Establish processes for maintaining high-quality, up-to-date content
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a curriculum designer/developer or in a similar role
- Proficiency with multimedia creation tools such as Camtasia, ScreenFlow, or Adobe Premiere
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and translate them into engaging educational resources
- Technical understanding of APIs and workflow automation concepts preferred
- Experience creating video tutorials with professional voiceovers
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize content updates based on complexity and impact
- Some coding knowledge or technical background is a plus but not required
- Passion for AI (experience integrating AI tools into content creation workflows preferred)
- Interest in leveraging emerging technologies to improve educational experiences
- Background in support or technical-facing roles preferred
