Writing our own future: CKO 2026 and the launch of the Tines Almanac

The last 12 months have been the most challenging in Tines’ history. They’ve also been the most successful.

We navigated macroeconomic headwinds and breakneck technological innovation. At the same time, global growth and scale demanded new operational discipline and relentless focus.

But alongside those challenges came major milestones. We maintained a world-class 122% net revenue retention (NRR). We tripled our enterprise customer base, signing landmark agreements with global heavyweights like SAP and Experian. We increased our headcount by over 100 brilliant people across the world. We successfully capitalized on the market shift towards intelligent workflows and the need to generate real value from AI investments in a safe and secure way.

Earlier this morning I had the privilege of welcoming Tinos to Galway for our annual company kickoff (CKO). Here we are building on that momentum. We are also sharing something that reflects who we are and where we’re going. We are launching the Tines Almanac: a comprehensive, transparent look at our strategy, our priorities, and our vision for the future of Tines.

Delivering real value in a market saturated with hype

2025 was a turning point for enterprise software. AI dominated headlines, investment surged, and hype was unprecedented.

None of that creates real value on its own. Adoption does.

Our product team delivered at a ferocious pace, shipping 357 new features over the past year.  I am particularly proud of the fact that many came directly from customer feedback.

Tines by the numbers in 2025

That focus translated into meaningful adoption and impact:

  • Customer use of our LLM capabilities increased by 302%.

  • Total event volume grew 89%.

  • Tines Story runs increased by 77%.

  • We achieved a 59% weekly-to-monthly active user ratio, rivaling top consumer platforms like Netflix and Spotify.

At Tines there is a direct connection between customer feedback, product innovation, and company success. It is a company-wide effort, spanning our ability to find and attract the right customers, setting them up for continued growth and success, and then implementing feedback mechanisms that consistently deliver greater value over time.

This isn't just about growth; it's definitive proof that once a team adopts Tines, they rely on it heavily to do their most important, mission-critical work. This is what it means to build technology that matters.

The Tines Almanac

But above all, what really drives customer growth is trust. We pride ourselves on authenticity and transparency with not just customers, but everyone who has a vested interest in Tines’ success.

The new Tines Almanac is a natural extension of those qualities. Most startups at our stage keep their playbooks and metrics closely guarded. We are taking a different path. The Almanac is an open and honest articulation of our operations, where we are investing, and what needs to happen this year to continue building a generational software company.

It is both a reflection of our core principles and a framework for the future. A guide to help navigate the known and unknown challenges that lay ahead with confidence while staying grounded in driving real customer value.

Writing our own future

Hosting CKO in Galway is a full circle moment for me. I grew up on a 13-acre homestead nearby in rural North Roscommon. My parents were from Dublin and had zero experience in agriculture. They were able to survive and thrive on that farm by relying on the basics found in the farmer's almanac, which was omnipresent in our household. This meant focusing on what they could control and committing to learning, adapting, and building something sustainable over time

That same philosophy shared how we think about Tines.

Our goal is clear: to continue building the platform that powers the world’s most important workflows. This year we are marching towards $100 million in ARR and beyond, not as an endpoint but as another milestone on a much longer journey.

The Almanac reflects that mindset. It does not attempt to predict the future. It exists to help us build it.

When you open the Almanac, you will see that the final pages are intentionally left blank.

Those pages represent what comes next. For our customers. For our team. And for the company we’re building together.

It’s time to write your own future. Let’s get to work.
