This is a fresh role in our growing Finance department that reports directly into The Global Head of Finance who is based in Ireland. The successful candidate will have a direct hand in shaping and moulding the global finance function for the coming years and do this with scale and growth in mind. You will support and collaborate with all business functions within Tines and together assist our rapidly growing business to balance the needs of Corporate Finance with Tines’ present and future company goals and objectives. 

What You Will be Doing:

  • Manage all aspects of the Accounting function ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate execution of all accounting processes and reports
  • Financial statement preparation, analysis and reporting for management, investors, the board of directors and other external parties
  • Lead the analysis and resolution of accounting issues and the creation/adoption of new accounting policies and procedures 
  • Manage the year-end audit and statutory account submissions, ensuring compliance with all regulations and statutory obligations
  • Continuous review of internal controls and procedures to ensure adequate financial and non-financial checks and balances are in place to safeguard validity of the balance sheet.
  • Establish and develop relations with senior leadership team and external partners and stakeholders
  • Work on specific finance projects related to automation and continuous improvement of the accounting and finance functions
  • Manage Tines’ outsourced accountancy vendors to ensure that the highest standards of financial practice are maintained specifically relating to payroll, quarterly management reporting and vendor payment
  • Provide people management and leadership to direct reports as internal finance function grows
  • Support Head of Finance in FP&A and other ad hoc activities

What You Bring with You:

  • Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years post qualified experience of which at least 1 year has been in the role of Finance Manager or equivalent level of experience.
  • Experience with managing and improving month-end close and statutory reporting processes
  • Self-starter and independent thinker with desire to work in a fast-paced scaling international organization
  • Highly organized manager comfortable with developing, enhancing and enforcing operational processes to support growth 
  • Proactive communicator with ability to establish rapport and work efficiently within all levels internally in the organization with a high degree of maturity and professionalism

What Would be a Bonus to Have :

  • Experience and/or familiarity with SaaS and/or subscription metrics billing
  • Experience assisting with transitioning from and outsourced to in-house management reporting function
  • Experience with ERP implementation (eg. NetSuite) and related finance tech stack components
