We’re looking for a passionate and talented individual to take ownership of the finance function at Tines. The ideal candidate is analytically-minded, has experience at the early stage, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and doing a little bit of everything. This individual will oversee budgeting and planning, cash management, financial metrics & reporting, and will be responsible for the implementation of processes that streamline operations.


  • Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role
  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
  • Take ownership for the establishment and development of the finance team
  • Transition finance operations from external service provider to in house team such as:
    • Monthly management reporting
    • Tax returns and filing
    • Annual audit
  • Management of third party relationships such as auditors, banking partners, financial information for investors
  • Installation and management of financial systems to support a rapidly growing business
  • Establishment of processes and controls such as purchase orders as and where required to support business decision making
  • Recruitment and management of staff as and when required and appropriate as the business continues to scale
  • Treasury management – establishment of cash flow forecasting, hedging and treasury optimisation
  • Development of management reporting beyond core management accounts to include key business insight, for example:
    • Profit margin management
    • Cash burn and runway
  • Scenario analysis and modelling to support management decision making
