We're hiring a Field Marketing Manager to go much deeper on how we host, attend, and sponsor events. We've learned the power of meeting our prospects, customers, and users face-to-face; hearing their stories, and telling ours. As the first Field Marketing hire, you will play a pivotal role in defining this key component of our marketing strategy. Reporting to our Head of Marketing, you will both lead our execution of events, and over time establish a strategic playbook, laying the foundations of a larger team to come.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record of coordinating and directing in-person events, including at major conferences. You're a self-starter who enjoys both the high level strategic work and getting stuck into making things happen and implementing.   • Define a high-level events strategy to support the company's hypergrowth.
  • Lead the organization and implementation of our attendance at major international conferences related to security and software, such as RSA, AWS re:Invent, and Black Hat.
  • Design and develop concepts for first-party hosted events, like customer meetups, workshops, and even our own conference.
  • Manage significant events and sponsorship budgets, using prioritization frameworks to direct capital where it will count the most.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations, developing tactics and systems to nurture event attendees into qualified leads.
  • Lead our webinars program, increasing the quality of these important online hosted events, in addition to the quality of interested registrants and attendees.
  • Working with Marketing, Design, and external partners, thoughtfully develop a system to extend our visual and corporate brand into the real world, covering areas such as booths, promotional materials, and branded apparel.


  • You have 5+ years experience working in a technology-industry events function; agency, in-house, or both.
  • You have helped to organized booth attendance at major, international conferences.
  • You are a self-starter, capable of taking high-level objectives and driving them to completion with minimal hand-holding.
  • You pride yourself on having good taste. You have strong opinions on what a great event looks like, versus a good-enough one.
  • You love working and interfacing with stakeholders and partners in various functions across the company.
  • You are a highly organized person. You manage complex event logistics without breaking a sweat.
